Goodwood helicopter charter takes you from Battersea to the Sussex Downs in about 25 to 35 minutes. On race days the roads around Chichester fill up, and the A27 becomes very busy. A helicopter flies over the queues, so you reach the course with time to spare.
Why choose Goodwood helicopter charter
The Qatar Goodwood Festival, often called Glorious Goodwood, runs from Tuesday 27 to Saturday 31 July in 2027, according to the course. The Festival of Speed runs earlier in the month, from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 July 2027. Both events draw huge crowds, and both reward an early start.
Goodwood Racecourse is about 41 nautical miles from the London Heliport. The estate’s own aerodrome is suitable for rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, and it asks for prior permission before every arrival. Therefore, we plan your slot early and arrange it for you. We also fly from Biggin Hill and Redhill when that suits your group better.
